SQL work-vacation, Thursday! (#Workation #PASSSummit)

Hello yet again! I’ve been writing about our time this week in Seattle, for the PASS Summit.

  • Saturday, I wrote that we’re here in Seattle for the PASS Summit, and that it’s my tenth year. AND that I’m doing daily “letters home” to you fine folk, just like I’m away at summer camp.
  • Monday, I wrote about Sunday’s laziness,  Monday’s Freecon and donut meetup, and a little about what’s coming up.
  • Tuesday, I wrote about the SQL Yearbook, and a general “what’s coming up”.

Yesterday – Wednesday – I walked the #SQLRun, went to a morning networking event, missed the day 1 keynote (while setting up the MinionWare booth), and talked ALL DAY LONG at the booth and at the exhibitor reception.

And then I got to go to PASS Summit Game Night! (Game night #2 is tonight…I’m very tempted…)

What’s going on today?

Thursday’s agenda:

“What about me?” asks the stay-at-home DBA.

Here’s what I have for you today, you not-necessarily-in-Seattle data person: if you want some free training, you can always hit up MidnightDBA.com, you know!

Oh, also! The SQL Yearbook IS be up now! Download, peruse, wonder at our efforts.

ALSO, remember that some of the PASS Summit is usually live streamed; most likely, that will be either at PASSSummit.com and/or on PASStv.

Plus, of course, folks will be live blogging the keynotes, the Women in Technology lunch, and who knows what else. Watch this space.

What’s coming up?

There’s still more Friday:

  • Very likely #SQLRun again….maybe?
  • The exhibitor hall is still open today, and is pretty relaxed. Good chance to talk to us all!
  • The Birds of a Feather lunch is apparently every day. Today it goes from noon-2pm.
  • Speaker Idol Round Three goes from 11:15am – 12:30pm.
  • Speaker Idol Final Round goes from 3:30 PM  – 4:30 PM..

Happy days,
