8:47 am. Standing outside in the cold, in a hat. Work awaits.
8:50 am. I already need more coffee. Making some in the break room, in my Bodom travel press. (See www.ITbookworm.com for my thoughts on the press.) I accidentally spooned the coffee grounds into my cup instead of the press…I need coffee to make coffee.
9:00 am. Checking email, blog stats and Twitter, running a necessary SSIS package. I feel a universal love for Twitter…that first cup of coffee must’ve taken effect.
9:12am. Strategery, to the dulcet tones of All About the Pentiums.
9:18 am. Looking up something on the SQL MCM site, and realized that if they made a movie about the SQL community they’d hire this guy to play Jorge Segarra:
9:24am. Supernice tweet from AmbivalentGeek: “#FF @MidnightDBA @JenniferMcCown Inspiring figures in the #SQLCommunity. You guys are awesome, keep it up!” AWWWWWWW…
9:39 am. White & Nerdy. It’s just that kind of day. And it’s time for some SSRS.
9:54am. Just spent 15 minutes geeking out with the owner and my team lead over how awesome technology is. It’s DEFINITELY Friday.
10:34am. Man, I can’t get five lines into another person’s T-SQL script without needing to blog. Post scheduled for Monday.
11:20am. Report finished & sent for review. Perhaps a spot of lunch…teambuilding time!
I think y’all may have to make it through the afternoon on your own…
