Ever since I worked in an office with adjustable standing desks, I’ve been thinking about getting a standing desk for the home office. The thing is, they’re a little expensive.
Last month, inspired by Buck Woody’s most recent stand-up desk setup, I finally put together a beautiful standing desk for about $100. I took the same general design, which is just a set of wire shelves and a nice board, and the project was done – from shopping to complete desk – in less than 2 hours.
The desk has everything I wanted: plenty of actual desk space, lots of storage space, and perfectly customized to my height. I posted full instructions on my personal blog, if you’d like to make one yourself.
