Just for fun, and for show fodder (you do know we’re broadcasting live on Christmas eve, right?), I asked my fellow Tweeps for their favorite xmas movies/songs/whatever. I have also pledged to try and watch/listen/check out the given suggestions. Here’s the list so far (with my comments, and links I added):
- Handel’s Messiah (LadyRuna) – Oh, I DO love the power of voice and orchestra together. Grand…there’s nothing like it.
- The Year w/o a Santa Claus for the Heat Miser song (wendy_dance) – You know I’ve never actually seen this special. Paul and Storm talked about this on their latest podcast…nobody likes this special, apparently, except for this song.
- Lady Gaga’s Christmas Tree (wendy_dance) – Hadn’t heard this, either. I’m very slowly becoming a deeper Gaga fan…I like it!
- Blackadder’s Xmas Carol (anonythemouse) – I LOVE Blackadder! Those of you who aren’t familiar with it may want to take a peek to see House well before he was House. Link goes to part 1 on YouTube. +1,000,000 points for “It’s not what you’ve got, it’s where you stick it!” I thought I’d SEEN this…I haven’t!
