Ingredients
- 5 oz bittersweet or semisweet chocolate pieces
- 2 oz unsweetened chocolate pieces
- 8 T (1 stick) unsalted butter in pieces
- 3 T cocoa powder
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 t vanilla extract
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 cup AP flour
Procedure
- Heat oven to 350, line 8″ square pan with foil and oil OR spray a nonstick mini muffin pan with cooking spray
- Melt chocolates, butter, and cocoa in microwave, stirring often (1-3 minutes)
- Whisk sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt together.
- Whisk in melted chocolate mixture.
- Stir in flour till no streaks remain.
- Pour into pan, smooth top, bake till it passes the toothpick test…35-40 minutes.
- Cool completely, ~2 hours, before depanning/cutting.
